Located in Agramunt (Lleida, Spain), it produces artisan nougats and other specialty sweets. The history of Torrons Vicens is rooted in the humble, entrepreneurial, and family-oriented spirit of its founders, who remained faithful to the traditional craft of nougat-making for more than two centuries, especially the renowned Agramunt Nougat.

Since 1775, we have preserved the secret of authentic nougat-making tradition. Generation after generation, Torrons Vicens has passed down the heritage of master nougat makers through its products, supported by the finest local ingredients, where almonds, hazelnuts, sugar, and honey come together to create a true work of art. As if time had stood still, the skilled hands of our artisans continue to craft our beloved sweets today.

In 2000, entrepreneurs Ángel Velasco and his son Ángel Velasco Herrero took over the company’s management, maintaining the traditional and artisan production methods as well as the use of high-quality local ingredients, a hallmark of the brand since its beginnings. Since then, the growth and expansion of the brand have been unstoppable, always remaining faithful to tradition and quality while introducing new, creative, and innovative proposals that have revolutionized the world of nougat.

In 2010, Torrons Vicens opened its first stores in Sitges and La Jonquera. Since then, its retail network has continued to grow and currently includes more than 40 stores, some of them abroad. The company exports to most countries around the world and has become a symbol of quality for its customers.

A great example is the Vicens Natura line, created in collaboration with renowned chef Albert Adrià, along with the creations of master nougat maker Àngel Velasco himself.

In 2009, the Regulatory Council of the PGI “Torró d’Agramunt” was established, an organization under the Government of Catalonia with decision-making authority regarding its regulations. In 2011, Mr. Ángel Velasco was appointed president of the Regulatory Council.
