During this time of year, we suggest a fun craft for the little ones at home to celebrate the Easter season.
It’s about giving a second life to the cartons by turning them into Easter animal figurines.
You’ll need:
Cardboard from La Granja Foods packages
Wool yarn in different colors
Cotton balls
White cotton balls
Scissors
INSTRUCTIONS
The idea of this craft is to reuse and recycle La Granja Foods cartons, giving them a second life. It’s a fantastic idea to spend time with family, and the little ones can decorate the craft as they like! Here at La Granja, we’ve come up with this fun idea.
The first step is to cut the carton from the La Granja package into the shape you prefer. We’ve cut it into the shape of an Easter bunny and an egg (as shown in the image), but feel free to cut the La Granja carton into the shape you prefer. Some ideas are chicks, hens, or little lambs…
Use white glue to attach the end of the yarn to the cardboard figure and let it dry so that the yarn sticks securely.
Wrap the wool yarn around the cardboard figure, making sure it’s well covered. Make sure to cover the figure completely with yarn.
Once the figure is fully covered, glue the end of the wool yarn with white glue.
Glue a small cotton ball on as a tail. You can also add eyes or a mouth for extra detail.
