Nougat from Agramunt Hazelnuts. Torrons Vicens is a family company with a long nougat tradition since 1775. Located in Agramunt (Lleida), it produces artisan nougat and other specialties. The history of Torrons Vicens has its origin in the humble, enterprising and family character of its founders, faithful to the artisan production of nougat for more than two centuries, especially the Agramunt nougat.

Since 1775 we have kept the secret of the authentic nougat tradition. Generation after generation, Torrons Vicens transmits in its products the heritage of the master nougat makers, backed by the use of the noblest raw materials of our land, where almonds, hazelnuts, sugar and honey come together to create a true work of art. As if time had stopped, the expert hands of our artisans continue to elaborate our highly appreciated sweets.

In 2000, the entrepreneurs Ángel Velasco and his son Ángel Velasco Herrero took over and took over the management of the company, maintaining the traditional and artisanal production and the use of quality ingredients and proximity, a trademark of the company since its inception, and since then the growth and expansion of the brand has been unstoppable, always faithful to tradition and quality, incorporating new, original and creative proposals that have revolutionized the world of nougat.

In 2010, Torrons Vicens decided to open its first stores in Sitges and La Jonquera. Since then, the network of points of sale has been growing and, at present, Vicens has more than 40 stores open, some of them abroad. The company exports to most countries in the world and has become a symbol of quality for its customers.

Hazelnuts, almonds, honey, cocoa… Our raw materials of excellent quality and proximity, are mixed under the expert eye of our Master Nougat Makers, owners of the Nougat recipe for three centuries.
Torrons Vicens has demonstrated its ability to merge tradition and innovation in a surprising way, creating new products, textures and flavors. A good example is the creation of the Vicens Natura line, in collaboration with the prestigious chef Albert Adrià, and the creations of the master turron maker Àngel Velasco.
With effort, dedication and a philosophy based on the quality of an artisan product, Torrons Vicens offers an assortment of more than 350 references. In addition to nougat, it has incorporated in its catalog a wide range of handmade specialties made with top quality products. In 2009, the Regulatory Council of the PGI “Torró d’Agramunt” was created, a body that depends on the Generalitat, but has decision-making capacity in matters related to its regulations. In 2011, Mr. Ángel Velasco was appointed president of the Regulatory Council.
