MI&CU Gourmet is a family business located near Barcelona, founded by siblings Núria and Josep Miret. They come from a long family tradition in chocolate-making spanning more than 70 years and bring over 20 years of experience in the gourmet chocolate sector.

Who is Mi&Cu?
Mi & Cu Gourmet is a family business created by Josep and Núria Miret Cudié, two siblings with more than 25 years of experience in the gourmet market and who follow the family tradition in the world of chocolate.
Their grandfather, the great master chocolatier Josep Cudié, was one of the great references in the Catalan chocolate industry of the 20th century.
Following this family chocolate legacy, the Miret Cudié Brothers elaborate Marlona, their most emblematic bonbon, the jewel of Vilafranca, a classic among classics.
La Garrotxa est une région située dans la province de Gérone et c’est là que se trouve la Fondation La Fageda. Comme le décrit l’équipe de La Fageda, « La Fageda est un petit monde formidable dans une réserve naturelle ».
L’usine et la granja sont situées sur le domaine d’Els Casals, à La Fageda d’en Jordà. Au cœur de la réserve naturelle de La Fageda d’en Jordà, au sein du parc naturel de la zone volcanique de la Garrotxa, se trouve le domaine Les Casals de Santa Pau. C’est l’espace depuis lequel La Fageda mène la majeure partie de son activité.
Environ 250 vaches frisonnes vivent sur sa ferme. Ceux qui sont déjà adultes produisent une partie du lait nécessaire pour préparer des yaourts, des desserts et des glaces. Le reste du lait de La Fageda est produit par des vaches des neuf fermes de la Coopérative de Lletera de l’Empordà, avec laquelle La Fageda est associée.
Ces dix fermes prennent soin des vaches de manière très similaire et possèdent le certificat de bien-être animal Welfair™ , qui atteste qu’elles sont bien nourries ; ils se reposent et bougent dans des espaces confortables ; ils sont en bonne santé ; Ils sont sociables et ont un état émotionnel positif.
