Staying ahead of the needs and desires of consumers has made us a benchmark for quality and innovation in our food products sector. In the 80s La Granja was a pioneer in creating specialties catering to different dietary needs, which today form part of our Diet range. Later we launch the Bio range, which uses only ingredients from organic farming. They have followed the Vegan range for strictly vegan consumption and the separate production of the Gluten Free product range.

In 1954 our grandparents had a colmado next to their small chicken farm. Eggs came to the neighborhood as well as groceries of all kinds.

Once the store ran out of cupcakes, one of its most popular products. To please the clientele, our grandmother decided to bake her own muffin recipe in her home kitchen.

Its enormous success surprised everyone, more and more were being sold each time. This is where La Granja was born and we learned something that we always keep in mind: working hard and doing your best to satisfy your customers can only bring good things.

All our products from the gluten-free line contain less than 20 ppm of gluten, a parameter that current regulations establish as a limit for a food to be suitable and safe for celiacs and gluten intolerants.

Without a doubt, it has been quite a challenge to bring this project forward, but the motivation has always been to be able to reach all consumers and that there is no difference in texture, flavor and sponginess between the traditional line and the gluten-free line. The main objective of La Granja being that the gluten-free line is a product for the whole family, regardless of whether or not they suffer from gluten or lactose intolerance.

We have the IFS 25 certificate with a High Level result, and it has been 11 consecutive years obtaining the IFS certification annually.
