La Granja Foods, a family business since 1959, is celebrating a year full of success.
In addition to marking 65 years of history and tradition, the company remains strongly committed to innovation and development, two of its key values. In this context, it has launched four new and exciting co-branded products in collaboration with fellow family business Torrons Vicens.
La Granja Foods first embraced co-branding in 2021, aiming to support La Fageda’s solidarity project. This collaboration has enabled the creation of high-quality products through a business structure with a social purpose, providing meaning and opportunities for people in vulnerable situations. As a result of this alliance, two sponge cakes and a mini magdalena featuring La Fageda’s fresh natural yogurt were introduced to the market.
Thanks to the excellent reception from consumers, La Granja Foods decided to create a new line: Special Editions, opening the door to further collaborations with brands that share not only its commitment to quality but also its passion for excellence. As part of this line, innovative products such as the Honey & Propolis Magdalena, developed in partnership with Alemany 1879, defenders of the rural world, have been introduced. This range also includes exotic Chai Tea and Matcha Tea sponge cakes, created in collaboration with Tea Shop, a leading brand in the world of high-quality tea.

With a history dating back to 1775 in Agramunt (Lleida), Torrons Vicens is a company with a deep-rooted turron-making tradition. For this reason, La Granja Foods’ R&D department has worked intensively to develop new textures that combine the fluffiness of sponge cakes and magdalenas with the distinctive crunch of traditional Torrons Vicens turrons. This has resulted in the creation of a sponge cake and a mini magdalena made with hard turron, as well as a Magdalena Magnum featuring Agramunt’s Torta de Turrón. As the perfect finishing touch, La Granja Foods has expanded its gluten-free and lactose-free range with a fluffy almond sponge cake, backed by the quality guarantee of Torrons Vicens.
This project marks the culmination of a year in which La Granja Foods has strengthened its focus on e-commerce, media presence, and the expansion and internationalization of the company.
