Sweet Potato Hummus with Vegan Lentil Snacks

INGREDIENTS

  • Vegan Lentil Snacks from La Granja
  • 150 g of cooked and drained chickpeas
  • 2 medium sweet potatoes
  • 1 tablespoon of tahini
  • 1 garlic clove
  • Juice of a small lemon
  • Salt to taste
  • Water
  • Extra virgin olive oil
  • Sweet paprika

ELABORATION

  1. Preheat the oven to 200ºC with heat from both the top and bottom. While the oven is heating, wash the sweet potatoes well to remove any dirt. Place the sweet potatoes on a baking tray lined with parchment paper. Bake them for approximately 50 minutes.
  2. Once the sweet potatoes are cooked and tender, let them cool to room temperature.
  3. Add all the ingredients to a bowl and peel the sweet potatoes. Use a blender to blend the ingredients until you get a smooth mixture.
  4. Now it’s time to adjust the texture. If the mixture is too thick, you can add a little water. Also, adjust the salt to taste.
  5. Now, let’s present it! On a plate or bowl, add the hummus, sweet paprika, and extra virgin olive oil. For decoration, you can use chia seeds, for example.
  6. Now just enjoy it with the Vegan Lentil Snacks from La Granja.
