Easter Craft

During this time of year, we suggest a fun craft for the little ones at home to celebrate the long-awaited Easter.

It’s about giving a second life to the cupcake wrappers by turning them into Easter animal figurines.

You’ll need:

• Cartons from La Granja Foods packages
• Wool yarn in different colors
• White glue
• White cotton balls
• Scissors

INSTRUCTIONS

The idea of this craft is to reuse and recycle the cartons from La Granja Foods packages and give them a second life. It’s a fantastic idea to spend time with family, and the little ones can decorate the craft as they like! Here at La Granja, we’ve come up with this fun idea.

1. The first step is to cut the carton from the La Granja package into the shape you prefer. We’ve cut it into the shape of an Easter bunny and an egg (as shown in the image), but feel free to cut it into whatever shape you like. Some ideas are chicks, hens, or little lambs…
2. Use white glue to stick the start of the wool yarn onto the cardboard figure and let it dry so that the yarn sticks securely.
3. Wrap the wool yarn around the cardboard figure, making sure it’s well covered. As you can see in the image, it’s important to cover the figure completely with the yarn.
4. Once the figure is fully covered, glue the end of the wool yarn with white glue.
5. Make a small cotton ball and glue it on as a tail. You can also add eyes or a mouth for extra detail
