In 1954, our grandparents had a small grocery store next to their little hen farm. They sold eggs and all kinds of provisions to the local community. One day, the store ran out of muffins, one of its most popular products. To satisfy her customers, our grandmother decided to bake her own muffin recipe in her home kitchen. Its enormous success surprised everyone, and more and more were sold. That\u2019s how La Granja was born, and we learned a lesson we always keep in mind: work hard and do your best to satisfy your customers.<\/p>\n
That was the case with the first traditional specialties that made us known, and it has continued throughout our journey, as we constantly introduce new products to our range. Anticipating the needs and desires of consumers has made us a benchmark for quality and innovation in the food sector. In the 1980s, La Granja was a pioneer in creating specialties adapted to different dietary needs, which today are part of our Diet range.<\/p>\n
Later, we launched the Bio range, which uses only ingredients from organic farming.
