The project, of an altruistic and solidary nature, supports La Casa dels Xuklis (AFANOC), an organization that helps families with children undergoing cancer treatment.
Its impact has been recognized with the Shared Value Award at the IX Nit Gourmet of the Food Retail Cluster of Catalonia, and thanks to this solidarity alliance, more than 20,000 euros have already been raised in previous editions.

“In 1985 the business adventure of Miquel Romeu and his wife, Enriqueta Ferreres, began. The couple used to travel to Ribera de Urgellet, in Pla de Sant Tirs, where they would savor the delicious artisan wafers they made in the town's bakery. Pursuing a romantic dream, they decided to buy that artisan workshop and found Neules Artesanes Sant Tirs.
It was clear to them: they were going to modernize the production systems, but they would be faithful to the roots of the craft that captivated them. They would maintain the artisanal production and the use of natural ingredients, which make these wafers unique”.
