Gluten-Free and Lactose-Free Brownie Muffins. From day one, making the best products we can and ensuring great taste has been a non-negotiable value for us.

In 1954, our grandparents had a small grocery store next to their little hen farm. They sold eggs and all kinds of provisions to the local community. One day, the store ran out of muffins, one of its most popular products. To satisfy her customers, our grandmother decided to bake her own muffin recipe in her home kitchen. Its enormous success surprised everyone, and more and more were sold. That’s how La Granja was born, and we learned a lesson we always keep in mind: work hard and do your best to satisfy your customers.

That was the case with the first traditional specialties that made us known, and it has continued throughout our journey, as we constantly introduce new products to our range.

Anticipating the needs and desires of consumers has made us a benchmark for quality and innovation in the food sector. In the 1980s, La Granja was a pioneer in creating specialties adapted to different dietary needs, which today are part of our Diet range.

Later, we launched the Bio range, which uses only ingredients from organic farming. Following this line, we introduced the Vegan range, for strictly vegan consumption, and the Gluten-Free and Lactose-Free products, which are produced separately from the rest of our products. This product has the Espiga Barrada seal and license number ES-055-013, certified by the FACE (Federation of Celiac Associations of Spain) which belongs to the AOECS (Association of Celiac Societies of Europe).

Gluten free Range

In the products of this new range we only use ingredients free of gluten, lactose and corn. We ensure their non-contamination throughout the process, from a production separate from the rest. This product has the La Espiga Barrada seal and licence number ES-055-001, certified by the FACE (Federation of Celiac Associations of Spain) which belongs to the AOECS (Association of Celiac Societies of Europe).

All our products in the gluten-free line contain less than 20 ppm of gluten, a parameter that current regulations establish as the limit for a food to be suitable and safe for celiacs and gluten intolerants.

Without a doubt it has been a challenge to bring this project forward, but the motivation has always been to be able to reach all consumers and to ensure that there is no difference in texture, flavour and fluffiness between the traditional line and the gluten-free line. The main objective of La Granja is that the gluten-free line is a product for the whole family, regardless of whether or not they suffer from gluten or lactose intolerance.

We have the IFS 24 certificate with a High Level result, we have already obtained the IFS certification annually for 10 consecutive years.

INGREDIENTS BROWNIE MUFFIN: EGG, whole cane brown sugar, high oleic sunflower vegetable oil, potato starch, humectants (glycerin, sorbitol), tapioca starch, rice flour, WALNUT (4%), chocolate chips (4%) [sugar, cocoa mass, cocoa butter, dextrose, emulsifier: SOY lecithin], defatted cocoa powder (2%), water, glucose and fructose syrup, vegetable fibers (peas, potato, potato dextrin, psyllium, bamboo, flaxseed), psyllium husk powder, leavening agents (disodium diphosphate, sodium bicarbonate), preservative (sorbic acid), acidity regulator (lactic acid), emulsifier (xanthan gum), and natural flavor.

May contain traces of TREE NUTS, SESAME, and SOY.
